| Answer: The principle guideline given by Islam in forming a
government – whatever be its type, structure and nature – is that it should come
into being through the mandate of the masses. A government has right to remain
in existence only if it enjoys the support of he majority.
Keeping in view this principle guideline, any form
government can be adopted. If this primary condition is taken care of, then the
decision should be made on the basis of the experience, practice and utility of
the system. |
