Sūrah
Lahab
This is a
translation of Amīn Ahsan Islāhi’s commentary on Sūrah Lahab of the Holy Qur’ān.
Univocity of
the Holy Qur’ān
This succinct exposition of Hamīd Uddīn Farāhi critiques the conventional approach of attributing
multiple interpretations to the Holy Qur’ān. According to him, nothing can be
more preposterous than to admit varied interpretations for the text of the Holy
Qur’ān. He also shares with readers the study approach which ultimately leads to
univocal interpretation of the Holy Qur’ān.
The Significance of Intentions behind Good Deeds
This write-up, prepared by Jāved
Ahmad Ghāmidi’s Hadīth Cell, combines a number of narratives reported by
different Hadīth scholars to produce a single narrative on the above captioned
topic with appropriate annotations.
The Phases and Abodes of the Day of Judgement
We believe that death is not the
end of life but a threshold to another life marked by absolute justice and
permanence. Given the overriding importance of this life, the Holy Qur’ān has
explained at length the abodes we are lodged in after we die. Jāved Ahmad
Ghāmidī elaborates on these in this article.
The Relationship between the
Spouses – A Qur’ānic Perspective
The Holy Qur’ān has employed the
metaphor of “garment” for wife and husband. The present article while quoting
from some of the contemporary commentators of the Holy Qur’ān explores myriad
dimensions of this metaphor from a linguistic and logical perspective. |
