Thank you, O Gracious One! for our
creation.
Thank you for uniting us in blood
relation.
Uncle, Aunt, father and mother,
Nephew, niece, sister and brother,
Thank you, O Holy One! for giving us the
right,
To choose our friends, teachers and
wives.
In day or night in ebb or flow,
Wives stand by us through high and low.
Teachers are shady trees on firm stems,
We pick their fruit, breath beneath
them.
We make friends, share with them all;
They hold us, when we stagger and fall.
More than all we seek thy shelter O
Lord!
You are the Best Friend; You are our
Rock!
